What is the best way to replicate glass in a scale model of a house?
For a class that i am taking i have to build two Scale Models and i need to replicate glass. I need a cheap material and a material that is also easy to cut with simple home tools. I need help because my model is due just 3 weeks!!! please help me!
You can go to a local hobby shop and buy some plastic (people there are fairly nice and will help you with picking material.) There are plastics which are really pliable and easy to cut (exacto knife). If your dad has a band saw or a jigsaw then you’d be in luck.
You can carefully paint the edges Dark Green/green tint and it would mimic windows. Had a project turned in last week and i did that, mimicked glass perfectly.
